Today we sit down with Alchemy Ventures co-founder, Sam Kooris.

Alchemy Ventures has been directly responsible for the acquisition, financing and repositioning of over 25 buildings in Brooklyn, all within the last four years. The portfolio is valued in excess of $125,000,000.

I thought to have Sam on the show as he was one of the most active buyers in NYC in 2020. One of the most common questions investors are asking today is: “who is buying NYC?”...Sam and I discuss his answer to that question and the positive and negative issues surrounding that topic.

Prior to founding Alchemy Ventures, Sam cut his teeth in the NYC marketplace as an investment sales broker and then transitioned that knowledge to the principal side of the business.

Finally, we discuss why the long-term future of New York multifamily is bright! It is all about the understanding of real estate fundamentals.

As we start 2021 and recover from the pandemic, it’s time envision how New York’s housing market will evolve this year.

Let’s hear what Sam has to say as we go Behind the Bricks…
