Before we dive into today's replay episode, I have some exciting updates to share. As we gear up for the summer season, I'll be taking a brief hiatus to refine our mission and enhance your listening experience.

While we take this short break, look forward to revisiting some of our most cherished conversations from the past. These timeless gems are filled with wisdom and insights that are as relevant today as ever.

Holding back from really putting yourself out there and shining at work? Afraid that your taking up space will make others uncomfortable?

If being yourself and feeling confident to grow to any level you desire at work is something you struggle with, then tune in to this episode with my guest, PR and Communications Specialist, Alicia McNease.

Alicia McNease is a Sr. Internal Communications Manager at Calendly. Alicia has also been inducted into the 2019 inaugural class of the PRSA National Forty Under 40 program, Georgia Chapter. In all of her accomplishments, she continues to contribute to the advancement of communities serving minority women in communications, Black women in sports, and in academia as an adjunct professor of the Sports Management Program at her alma matter, Georgia State University.

Listen in to this replay as Alicia shares what it means to "take up space", and how to do it successfully without negatively impacting others.
