Michael Cinicollo survived a life-threatening motorcycle accident at the age of 23. His arm was nearly amputated, he was told he would never walk again, and he fractured his skull. For the next three decades, Michael led a sedentary lifestyle. Now, at 61, he teaches yoga and credits his practice with helping him wean off pain medications, regain strength, and ultimately, lose weight and improve his overall health. He speaks with passion about the impact of yoga on his life, emphasizing that it's never about the poses but the inward journey they facilitate. Michael's story is a powerful reminder that life can change in an instant, but it's how we respond to those changes that define us. His candid reflections on his upbringing, his relationship with his family, and the insights gained through his practice are both moving and inspiring. His message is clear: movement is towards life, and it's never too late to start on the path of self-improvement.
