The federal government is pushing farmers to cut greenhouse gas emissions, but some farmers are frustrated by all the attention on cow burps, fertilizer and diesel fuel. Saskatchewan farmer Kristjan Hebert says agriculture isn’t the cause of climate change, it’s part of the solution. Also, reporter Allan Dawson with the Manitoba Co-operator speaks with Ryan Cardwell, a University of Manitoba agriculture economist, who says farmers may not believe they have political power, but they have moulded government policy in their favour.
