Nelson Deb, a social entrepreneur who manufactures biodegradable sanitary products is our guest on this episode. He shares his journey on breaking taboos around menstrual hygiene in the urban and rural parts of Assam. He talks about the sanitation issues faced by women in the Northeast region of India and how he is involving adolescent girls and boys to create awareness on menstrual health management through his venture The Eco Hub. They discuss the importance of men’s involvement in supporting menstruation needs for women and moving beyond Cliché.
