Cyrus Gazdar has taught with the Peel District School Board for the past 24 years and is nearing the end of his successful career.
In 2017, he bought his first investment property - once he realized that the amount he would earn from his pension would not be enough to cover the lifestyle he planned to have after teaching.
Since then, he has bought another rental property and tried his hand at flipping a home.
Cyrus did a joint venture with his university-aged daughter in one his purchases and she is getting hands-on experience and a wealth of learning into the real estate investing world.
In this episode, he shares tons of valuable insights as he prepares for retirement - reminding us that it's never too late to start building our wealth to create the lifestyle we would like.
