Alex Cox was the late brother of Lori Vallow, an American woman who made headlines in 2019 and 2020 after her two children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, went missing. Cox himself was also linked to the case, as he had shot and killed Vallow's estranged husband, Charles Vallow, in what he claimed was self-defense in July 2019.
In December 2019, Cox was found unresponsive in his home in Gilbert, Arizona, and was later pronounced dead. The cause of death was initially unknown, but it was later revealed to be a blood clot. His death further complicated the investigation into the disappearance of Vallow's children, as he was believed to have been one of the last people to have seen them alive.
In this episode, we take a look at the death of Alex Cox and how his death has affected the investigation overall.
