"I think we're in the midst of some new macro trends. For the past two years there's only been two macro trends: digital identity, or profile picture collections, and generative artwork, both are favored by the market. I think that the data shows that those are the only two areas that are truly favored by the market. If you look at how much liquidity has gone into those two areas of NFTs, it's really hard to make a case for anything else being a true macro trend. If you look at Bored Ape Yacht Club there's literally 713K+ ETH worth of secondary market volume. Doodles, another 160K ETH. That's billions of dollars in these collections. If you look at Chromie Squiggle, a generative art project, there are 60K ETH of secondary market volume. There's a belief that generative art is going to be a big movement in our history, and that buying these is buying the foundational early pieces that will eventually be priceless, similar to a Picasso."
