"I think I was speaking mainly as a teacher to probably mostly women, but men, too. It's amazing how many men have come to me and said, you know, I read your book and I get it."

Welcome Bonnie Bartlett Daniels:

We’re joined on the Starline by an actress whose career spans seven decades. You’ve seen her on “Better Call Saul”, “St. Elsewhere” and more than 100 amazing roles on stage, screen and TV. Her book “Middle of the Rainbow” discusses her successes, hardships and her incredibly full life. We welcome the pride of Moline Illinois, Bonnie Bartlett Daniels.

Bonnie, let’s go Beyond the Mic. “Middle of the Rainbow” doesn’t hold anything back, it’s the good, bad and ugly of an amazing life. Why did you feel it was important to let everyone in?

How long did it take you to record the audio book?

You talk about so many emotional moments in the book. Was there any section that was harder for you to read than others?

Your dad was a failed Shakespearean actor, how did he feel when you were successful?

Best things about your sons Michael and Robert?

You were a stay at home mom, taking care of your kids. How did those years give you joy?

You were college classmates at Northwestern with your husband Bill, the late Paul Lynde and Georgann Johnson. Did theatre classes at Northwestern really prepare you for what you discovered in Hollywood?

Bonnie, you’ve experienced “Old Hollywood”. What’s the best and worst thing in Hollywood today?

June was 73 years of marriage to your husband Bill. What makes you smile about him today?

Which role that isn’t “St. Elsewhere” was your favorite?

One Big Question:

What’s the one tip that you would give a young woman that wants to be an actress that you wish someone told you when you 1st started?

The Wrap:

She loves her husband laugh and smile, and she wants to read “Middle of the Rainbow”. Bonnie Bartlett Daniels than you for taking the time to talk with us today.

And that my friends is a Beyond the Mic Mini.
