Micaela, let’s go Beyond the Mic. Dear Evan Hansen is such a powerful show. When you first saw it, how did it change the way you see yourself as a theater artist?

You didn’t start your theater career till late in high school. Why did you decide that your voice needed to be heard?

And you have friends at Texas State who’s did Seussical so the circle is complete.

From your roles in Nunsense and Sister Act you now shifting to a role without a habit. How has theater given you a stronger voice and allowing you to move from the darkness in your own life since high school?

Was it fear of failure, the unknown or can I do this?
