Hi, you are welcome to the Beyond the Stars podcast with Feyi Jimba. Here you will be empowered, educated, rehabilitated and inspired to live your best life by doing what you were created to do. Please feel free to visit my blog at www.beyondthestars.org.ng. Today's topic is titled FINDING PURPOSE. In recent time, I have read the stories of young people resorting to suicide and it is so sad. I have also wondered why and have drawn my conclusion that finding your purpose in life is one way to keep depression and consequently suicide away. Have you ever asked what is the purpose of life? Why am I on earth? What was I created for? As far as I am concerned, this questions can only be answered by having a relationship with God. God is the only one that can reveal your purpose to you because He is your origin, He created you and I. I don't know what you believe but there is a deep yearning in the heart of everyone that can only be satisfied by a loving God. This yearning cannot be satisfied by just success, wealth or fame. This yearning cannot be satisfied by our goals, ambition or dreams. our purpose is innate. Infact, Scripture tells us in Colosians 1:16 that "everything, absolutely everything, above, below, visible and invisible, rank after rank of angels, everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him." Also in Ephesians 1:11, Scriptures says, "It is in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Therefore, living a successful life is not the same thing as living a purposeful life. You can be powerful successful wealthy and famous and still not fulfill the purpose which God created you. I have read about successful and famous people who committed suicide or died of drug overdose. A person who has discovered the purpose of life cannot deliberately end his life. There is divine spark within each one of us even if you have not acknowledged Him as Lord. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/feyi-jimba/message
