Bill and Jamal are joined in Harlem by the legendary Kenny Anderson. Anderson, a Queens native, was one of the all-time great New York City high school players, a two-year star at Georgia Tech, and the 2nd overall pick by the New Jersey Nets in 1991.
Anderson talks about success in NYC at such a young age, taking advantage of stardom in college, and his up and down 14-year NBA career.
More importantly, he candidly discusses his many life lessons, regrets, accomplishments, and growing as a person. He also talks about being abused at a young age, how it affected his life, and realizing the importance of seeking out professional help, particularly as a black man.
Finally, Anderson discusses his forthcoming documentary, Mr. Chibbs, which premieres November 12th in New York City. All this and more on the latest edition of Bill Rhoden On Sports.
