Hello Listeners!

In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with X Ambassadors, music group consisting of brothers Sam and Casey Harris along with Adam Levin. X Ambassadors have released another new song from their much-anticipated new album, Townie, out April 5th. The new track, “Half-Life” follows previously released singles, “Your Town” and “No Strings”. The album marks a compelling new chapter for the band as they return to their upstate New York roots and paint an intricate portrait of their hometown’s most mundane aspects and the community that molded them.

The fifth album by X Ambassadors consists of 12 tracks laced with smooth guitar lines and nostalgic lyrics about blue-collar youth. Self-produced with the band’s drummer, Adam Levin, the album is a window into their childhood lives as they take listeners on a curated journey of their home in Ithaca. Following a jam-packed year of touring Europe, working with stars like Rihanna and Lizzo and writing songs for movies, the trio is back to its bread and butter, and Townie feels like a well-needed pause in the members’ hectic lives.
