Joining BioChat is Ting Fu, PhD, of the University of Wisconsin to discuss her long time research into inflammatory bowel diseases and colon cancer. Ting talks about her fortuitous path with helpful mentors and collaborators to pursue her research interests, the challenges of setting up a new lab during the height of the pandemic, and of course, her research of the roles of bile acids and its nuclear receptor, FXR, in gastrointestinal homeostasis.
