Jed Hoyer bet on organizational depth this offseason. This week I want to talk about that depth and what it has meant for the Cubs this year (both good and bad). I’ve talked a lot about roster construction and we’ve seen a lot of changes already, including a flurry of moves yesterday. The Cubs are playing a tough schedule, working through a number of significant injuries and have still been able to remain competitive. How might the Cubs continue to manage the rotation and bullpen and why was Garrett Cooper picked to go Tuesday?
