What happens when skype, a piece of hardware and the weather conspire against you?

Do you think you can still win in such an adverse situation?

Let me explain what I’m talking about. Last week I had the chance to get on skype with my friend Ion Andrei, from Affiliate Marketing Step by Step. The purpose of the call was to record an interview with him in order to share it with you in this podcast episode.

What happened next was a fearful combination of factors which looked like a real conspiration to me and I began to think we would wouldn’t be able to complete the interview.

At first, skype began to disconnect the call every 5 minutes or so. Can you imagine how difficult was fo Ion to go back where he left each and every time?

Then, when we were just getting accustomed to the frequents interruptions, my mike went OUT. Actually it was a hardware problem on the sound card, not something I could fix it in a short time.

So I called him on the phone, but a storm upon my village took out electricity!

Wouldn’t you call this a conspiration?

When light came back, I called him and we agreed to get again on it on the next evening. And we did.

In the end, I was left with a great call, full of deep insights, all torn into bits and pieces, and I had to do a kind of Dr. Frankenstein hard editing job on them.

It took me some time, but it was worth it. I’m proud to introduce you to Ion Andrei.
