Words that Create: Part 3

Let's begin today's teaching with our foundational text for the series. Proverbs 6:2 says, you are trapped by the words of your mouth: you are ensnared by the words of your mouth. 1) Live in the Authority of God's Word. Psalm 1:2-3 reads, 2 But his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. 3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water that produces its fruit in its season whose leaf also does not wither (World English Bible). 2) Live in the Power of God's Word. Hebrews 4:12 reads, 12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (World English Bible). 3) Live in the Power of God's Spoken Word. Isaiah 55:11 reads, 11 so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do (World English Bible). God’s word is not powerless; It is only powerless when unspoken. So, speak the Word of God. Because You can Have what You Say! Remember to share this podcast with others.
