You’ve heard the benefits of meditation and you know what they are. But there are things that happen as a benefit that I wanna share with you today. It’s not about standing in the middle of the forest quietly not saying a word. It starts with you just saying you’re going to just be. You can start with guided meditation which is what I did for five minutes a day. Every time my ego try to talk me out of meditating I simply said I have five minutes goodbye ego. In the Bhagadvad Gita, Krishna says “When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a lamp in a windless place.” Always remember this- when you hear that voice that tells you to delay things or says things that are not really out for your best interest, that is the ego. The one that says “just take another nap” or “you don’t need to go work out” or “do it later”. That is your ego as it wants to stay with the familiar so that it can stay in control. Ignore chatter in the mind, because it’s just that-chatter
