Susan Friedmann is a certified speaking professional (CSP). She’s also an international best-selling author of 18 books. Susan is on a mission to wipe out sameness and add vitality and differentiation to author marketing. Through her company, Aviva Publishing, she has guided hundreds of non-fiction authors to use their books to become trusted and recognized authorities in their niche markets. Susan started her career training exhibitors at trade shows. There, she got her expertise in honing in on a niche market and going from unknown to one of the go-to experts.
Susan joins me here to talk about niches and how to stand out from the crowd. She shares insights from her book Riches in Niches and how to make yourself a big fish in a small pond. Some niches can run dry pretty quickly, so you want to make sure your niche is profitable and sustainable. Writing a book is a great tactic to stand out as a leader in a niche market, as many in those areas aren’t published. I also talk to Susan about the process of niching down, how to adapt your books and programs to niche audiences, how authors can leverage virtual summits, and why you shouldn’t be afraid to do something different.
What’s Inside:

  • How to stand out as an expert in a niche market.
  • The value of writing a book to establish authority.
  • How authors in niche markets can leverage virtual summits.
