Hour 1

The Mets are on a bit of a roll after sweeping the Padres this weekend. Boomer thinks they could actually be buyers instead of sellers at the trade deadline. Gio wonders what they’ll do if they’re on the fringe. ‘The Gay Mets are 9-3’ is something Gio heard on The Warm Up Show with Al & Jerry. Since June is Pride Month, the Mets changed their logo on X to the pride flag colors. Since that happened, they are 9-3 and it is being discussed on X that way. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Yankees losing to the Red Sox in Boston. The Sox stole a franchise high 9 bases. The Mets swept the Padres as Pete Alonso homered yesterday. Mookie Betts was drilled in the hand by a pitch and Yamamoto has been put on the shelf. Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open. In the final segment of the hour, Evan Roberts has been making an effort to dress nicer. A caller thinks Boomer is passive aggressive with his Yankees hatred.

Hour 2

Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open. People didn’t like Bryson in the past, but since going to LIV he started a popular YouTube page and on social media you can see his personality and now people like him. He is now very engaged with the fans. Rory McIlroy was criticized for leaving right after the tournament and Gio said he should be allowed to do that. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees losing to the Red Sox in Boston last night where Anthony Rizzo was injured. The Sox stole 9 bases off Jose Trevino and the Yankees pitchers. Bill Belichick is dating a 24 year old competitive cheerleader. We talked about old guys having babies. The Mets swept the Padres and Pete Alonso homered. Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open and his ‘salty balls’. Angel Reese committed a hard foul on Caitlin Clark as they battled again. In the final segment of the hour, somebody dropped their vape in the urinal at WFAN. Gronk made a few jokes about Bill Belichick’s 24 year old girlfriend.

Hour 3

WFAN’s Danielle McCartan asked John Sterling if he would come back for an inning or more for a Yankees World Series game. He said no, as it would be unfair to the guys doing the games now. Boomer & Gio are going to be in NJ today and they were going to set up a show dinner but Al and Jerry are hosting tomorrow and Al doesn’t want to go out at night. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Yankees losing to the Red Sox, allowing 9 steals. The Mets swept the Padres and will play the Texas Rangers tonight. We also talked about swap shop radio shows. Jerry has an odd sound that Chris McMonigle made on the air. Tom Brady was in the UFL Championship game booth for a few minutes yesterday. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Bryson DeChambeau winning the US Open and Rory McIlroy missing out again.

Hour 4

The Mets are on a bit of a roll right now after sweeping the Padres. What will they do at the trade deadline? Gio doesn’t think they will add players. At most, they will stand pat. Boomer thinks they could add players if they are in. There is still a long way to go. The trade deadline is six weeks away at the end of July. The Mets are 5-0 since Grimace threw out the first pitch. The Mets are also 9-3 since changing their X logo to the pride flag colors. They have been dubbed, on X, as ‘the gay Mets’. A caller explains what Grimace is in the world of McDonald’s. Jerry returns for his final update of the day. He is going to play golf in Arizona because you can always guarantee nice weather. Jerry thinks it’s ‘ugly’ around here in the summertime. Jerry said you cannot count on good weather here, even in the summer. Jerry starts with the Yankees losing in Boston. The Yankees gave up 9 stolen bases. The Mets swept the Padres as Pete Alonso homered yesterday. Ronel Blanco threw 7 innings of no hit ball and was pulled because he reached 94 pitches. Angel Reese said the refs are not treating her team the same way they are treating Caitlin Clark. The Moment of The Day involves Bryson DeChambeau’s ‘salty balls’.
