The Boston Red Sox have begun gearing up for October with some much better pitching performances, including several fantastic outings by Drew Pomeranz. The guys discuss the Sox pitching, what the Sox will need to do to make it past other American League powerhouses, and questions regarding David Price making an appearance in the bullpen this postseason.

The New England Patriots started off their 2017 title defense with a lackluster showing in a 42-27 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. Nick and David discuss whether or not the Patriots will bounce back in Week 2, concerns or lack thereof surrounding the performance of Tom Brady, and who needs to step up against the New Orleans Saints.

Plus, we learn more about the Boston Bruins signing of David Pastrnak through the 2022-23 season and what the future looks like for our favorite hockey team.
