Dance music is black music. In all of its origins from soul, to r&b, to disco, to funk, to house, to techno - it all began in African American communities. It has represented positivity and togetherness, and is the foundation of everything our career has been based on.

The death of George Floyd was a tragic reminder of the horrible injustice these communities still face to this day, and given all that’s going on in the world right now, we want to show our support for the Black Lives Matter movement. This episode we are celebrating black music with some of our all time personal favourite songs from black artists, along with the powerful words of anti-racism activists Jane Elliot and Killer Mike. We urge you to educate yourself on this music and what it represents.
