This week Andy was joined by Chris Dobbertean (@ChrisDobbertean), Dave Ommen (@BracketGuyDave), and Ed Feng (@ThePowerRank).

Chris, Dave, and Andy started by discussing their biggest gripes with the committee this year before talking through the seed list and where they saw things differently, including some strange seeds in the Big Ten, South Carolina’s geographic placement, and the lack of love for Wichita State and MTSU. They finished by tossing out some potential first round upsets, surprise Sweet 16 teams, and Final Four picks.

Andy then brought Ed on to discuss how the analytics on his site can help people as they start filling out their brackets. The two also talked about Ed’s book “How to Win Your NCAA Tournament Pool” and the logic behind his contrarian strategy before touching on this year’s favorites and Michigan’s late resurgence.
