Today we’re chatting with my sister Yanti Ropeyarn, a fellow breadwinning mum with one baby son, Ilo. Yanti is a proud Angkamuthi, Yadhaykenu, Woppaburra, Meriam woman from Far North Cape York Peninsula. She shared with us her life story about growing up with her mob, battling her sexuality and overcoming depression before finally coming out to her family, and finding love whilst giving back to her community.
