Last night I felt very honored to be one of the invited speakers at an Interfaith Iftar Dinner. The theme (and motto of the organization) was “LOVE FOR ALL AND HATRED FOR NONE.” It was a celebration of all religions and cultures. In a world where so many people are quick to reject or “tolerate” those that are different, it was an amazing experience to celebrate, learn from and honor everyone equally, despite our so called differences. I pray that the world eliminates rejection of others, graduates from mere tolerance of others and moves to celebrating and learning from each other’s unique perspectives, cultures and religious practices.
