In rugby league: Due to injury, Latrell Mitchell didn’t feature in the 2022 and 2023 ORIGIN series for New South Wales.

In Tennis: Carlos Alcaraz celebrated a historic achievement at Roland Garros in Paris on Sunday.
The 21-year-old became the youngest man to win a major on three different surfaces after edging Alexander Zverev 6-3 2-6 5-7 6-1 6-2 in 4hr 15min in a compelling French Open final.
Alcaraz adds the clay court crown to his triumph at the US Open in 2022 and his victory at Wimbledon last year
In SportsBiz: World Athletics has announced The World Athletics Ultimate Championship to begin in 2026, offering a record US$10Million in prize money, with gold medalists set to receive US$150,000.

And in the NBA Finals: The Boston Celtics tightened their grip on the 2024 NBA Finals, routing the Dallas Mavericks 98-105 in Game 2 at TD Garden in Boston yesterday.
With the win, the Celtics have a 2-0 lead as the series makes its way to Dallas.
Jrue Holiday continued his stellar postseason play, leading the Celtics with 26 points and eleven rebounds.
Celtics forward Jayson Tatum finished the game with 18 points, nine rebounds and a game-high 12 assists.
Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla said. “Everybody that stepped on that court tonight made winning plays. That is the most important thing. It takes everybody to do it.”
The Celtics held the Mavericks to under 100 points for the second consecutive game, forcing 15 turnovers, ultimately limiting Dallas’ effectiveness on offense.
Despite the Mavericks struggling to find their rhythm offensively, Luka Doncic led the team with a game-high 32 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving finished the contest with 16 points and six assists.
