Barbara Kendall believes the IOC has taken the right stance in not enforcing a wholesale ban on Russia for the Rio Olympics. LISTEN ABOVE: Barbara Kendall spoke to the Crowd Goes Wild Breakfast Individual sporting federations will be able to decide whether to allow Russian athletes to participate in Brazil. Kendall, a three-time Olympic sailing medallist and also an IOC member, says she knows of a clean Russian windsurfer who deserves to be at the games. She said he can prove he's clean and is a good person. "They're bundled into the same package as everybody. It's kind of a little bit unfair. I think it goes against humanity, but I guess the IOC has put really, really tough sanctions." Kendall told the Crowd goes Wild Breakfast it's a considered decision that doesn't hurt clean athletes. "The Russia Olympic Committee, they've had no implications in it because they are squeaky so Zhukov, who's the president, he's actually a really nice guy, they still say if you can prove that your athletes are innocent then let's go for it." Tennis and cycling have welcomed the IOC's decision.
