Jeremy Magan with the latest in French Football analyzed Ligue 1's Matchday 37th

At the bottom of the table, Bordeaux will need a real miracle to avoid ligue 2 after a draw at home – although it was their 1st home clean sheet of the season.

Saint-Etienne in an empty stadium lost to Reims and let Metz, winner at home against Angers, take the 18th spot with a better goal difference.

PSG, for maybe the last away game with Mbappé in their ranks, won comfortable 4-0 in Montpellier.

Lyon for their last game at home beat Nantes 3-2, but too little too late for OL, too far to hope for European football next season.

The top of the table battle will be extraordinary next week. Nice lost almost everything, unable to beat Lille at home. Galtier’s former club saw Jonathan David finally waking up to win 3-1 at the Allianz Arena.

Lens bought themselves some hope by beating Troyes in Champagne. A win at home against… Monaco! Could qualify les Sang et Or for Europe next year.

Monaco came back from 0-2 at home to beat Brest 4-2 thanks to a hat trick from Ben Yedder and now sit pretty at the 2nd spot after this incredible 9 consecutive win series.

Strasbourg made the most of their last home game, beating Clermont 1-0 and keeping their fate in their hand before visiting OM at the Velodrome for Matchday 38.

Les Marseillais found their master at Rhoazon Park, dominated head and shoulder by Rennes.

Les Rouge et Noir, 4th on the table, can still end 2nd if they win while Monaco and Marseille lose.

The last game of the season, with OM-Strasbourg, Lens-Monaco and Lille-Rennes, will be VERY entertaining.
