Join Alex and I as we talk about his newest project, Dead Icarus, how it's been starting anew after a 20+ year career. The challenges he's faced in getting this new project off the ground, and what fans can expect moving forward with his first album and the excitement he's recaptured in making music he feels fits him.
We also talk about Alex's time here in Michigan going to a Luthier school, and how it was learning a new skill in a little sleepy college town away from family.
Alex also offers some insight as to why he ended up leaving Atreyu, if he'll ever revisit some of that material when Dead Icarus plays out live and more.
