The Canadian Journalism Forum on Violence and Trauma, the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) and the Carleton University School of Journalism are hosting a special series of online industry forums tackling the critical issue of the mental health and well-being of those in the news industry.

"Taking Care in News: 2024 industry discussions on well-being" is open to journalists, editors, managers, educators and students.

On this episode of Broadcast Dialogue - The Podcast, we welcome journalist and mental health advocate Dave Seglins, one of the lead authors of 2022 report, Taking Care: A Report on Mental Health, Well-being and Trauma Among Canadian Media Workers, a study revealing alarming levels of burnout, anxiety, depression and trauma exposure within the industry.
