Yes, we can’t help ourselves! They’re funny, they’re quirky, and above all else, they’re real! We’re talking Adult Animated Shows. You know the ones we mean. Not “Beavis & Butt Head” or even Family Guy. We mean the real ones. Just to rattle off a few, Nicky Trendz and Manny Oso brought you some that really dive deep for them. BoJack Horseman, Big Mouth, Human Resources, & F Is For Family. These are the kinda shows that make you say “pay the Writers what they’re worth!” Nicky particularly loves how Human Resources personifies Feelings and Trauma. And Manny loves how these shows have perfectly explored a topic to outrageous for Live Action. Like puberty! Series’ like these really dive into our minds and past, then make us point the fingers at ourselves and say “see, you do this too!” … then hopefully laugh a little bit about it. But anyway, you tell us! - What animated show really speaks to you as an adult? - Are there other psychological or behavioral subjects, like Puberty, you believe are more suited for animation, than live action? - How many of you are swearing off Netflix this month just to go back to it next month?
