BWA Ep.11: "Ways To Encourage Your Child's Learning!"
Welcome all you beautiful lovelies!! On today's show we're discussing Ways To Encourage Your Child's Learning. My son, Cayden, is 5 years old and can type an average of 12 WPM 98% Accuracy, Reads for about 2-4 hours a week, does additional worksheets at home when he doesn't have homework from school & loves science experiements!
This all started when he was about 10 months old and expressed a desire to learn! We always watched shows on youtube like Blippi, Cocomelon, Ryan's World etc. It got to the point I bought him his first tablet at age 1. He'd play educational games, download reading and puzzle apps, have time off of it as well to play or go outside, and do fun projects with me using the tablet.
I taught him at age 4 to use a computer, he memorizes his mommies cell #, our address and he's learning his schoold ID # which is great practice for later on learning his social!
