In the first few verses of Genesis 39, we read that the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man. In this teaching, Prophet Hari enlightens us that it’s possible to have both the presence (of God) and be prosperous. By carrying the presence of God, we become carriers of blessings in our environment.Joseph was sold, brought as a slave to Egypt, and sent to work in Potiphar's household. Despite being a slave in an unfavorable system that wasn't designed for his benefit - Joseph was successful. And his master, a pagan man, recognized that the Lord was with Joseph and enabled him to succeed. He perceived that in order to keep prospering, he needed Joseph - the carrier of blessings.

Whilst a slave is not meant to rule, Joseph ended up being a ruler because the Lord was with him. There is a Presence that causes prosperity and the multiplication of blessings. When you come in contact with a person carrying that grace, you see the benefits of it in your life. Laban became exceedingly prosperous as a result of his nephew, Jacob, who carried the presence of God. Prosperity flows due to the Lord's presence being with you.

There is an identity crisis among the body of Christ today, with people forgetting who they are and what they are carrying. Even if everyone else regards you as a slave, if indeed God is with you - YOU ARE THE FAVOUR! When you carry the presence of God into every place you go, you are the extension of God and the ruler of that environment.

Why do the heathens recognize the oil while we struggle to recognize our own? Potiphar was humble enough to seek the help from a young slave. We need to learn the art of asking for help. Help is not automatic; it takes greatness to locate the source of help and extract blessings.

Realities you should become aware of as a carrier of blessings:

1. Access: manage your access well

Gaining access to an individual who truly carries God is a blessing in itself. You enter the realm of blessings when you have access to a man or woman of God that carries heaven. Acts 10:25–33 describes the account of a man named Cornelius who understood that being in Peter's presence was being in the presence of God Himself.

Given that you are God's resting place, consider how you let people access to you. When people encounter you, they are encountering God. The dimensions in which you experience God are the dimensions in which people around you will experience Him. When you unlock a certain grace for yourself, then those that come in contact with you can access and receive from that grace. You carry God, and therefore your presence is precious.

God sends Himself by sending you; don’t make common what is holy; know who you are and conduct yourself worthy of the presence of God that is in you.

2. Mindset: develop a mindset that is shaped by the presence of God

The mindset of a man of God that is shaped by the presence of God. This brings understanding, and being able to adopt that mindset is the greatest blessing.

A mindset is learned and developed by a close walk and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Elisha asked for a double portion of the spirit of his father. You can be loyal and still lack understanding; ask the Holy Spirit to develop your mind.

3. Words: steward your words well

If you are a carrier of blessings, you communicate blessings by words. A man of God can bless you with his words. In 1 Samuel 3:19 we read that the Lord was with Samuel and let none of his words fall to the ground. When God is watching over your words, it comes with power. Don’t speak your feelings, you are called to lead your emotions, not to be led by them. Can your words become consistent with the words of heaven?
