We sit down with Colby Ferguson- Government Relations Director with the Maryland Farm Bureau to discuss what it takes to lobby for agriculture in Annapolis. Colby Ferguson has worked as the Government Relations Director for 9 years. He previously served as the Business Development Specialist for Agriculture in Frederick County. He also served in previous sales and nutritionist roles within the livestock industry. Colby graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's in Animal Science. Additionally, he is a professional livestock judge and showman competing at different livestock competitions and shows throughout the country. He currently resides in Walkersville, MD with his wife and two kids who also are actively involved within the agricultural industry.
