Rabbi Ovadia knows all to well how many people may be so strict with Kashrut, Shabbat, and Prayers, but negate the laws regarding business ethics. It's extremely important to address this issue, because business ethics shows the true character of a person. Being sensitive to others, while balancing ones need and pressure to make a living can sometimes become pretty murky. Nobody is perfect, but we learn and improve on a daily basis to become better than we were before. As we know, many people spend most of their time working and it would make sense that we teach and learn how to conduct ourselves.
