A great business conversation can change your destiny—or at the very least, can make your day.

Yet most of us sit through meetings that suck the life out of us. We meet with people who are gifted at pressing our buttons and causing us to feel bad and act in ways we regret. And there are some conversations we need to have or get better at having, but we don’t because we think it’s impossible or we’re not capable enough.

Most business advice on having better conversations focuses on what to say. But that’s a mistake. Scientists agree that 90 to 95% of communication is NON-VERBAL.
