It was a different financial advisory conversation that I'm used to having. I'm used to talking about stocks, bonds, where to invest, how much to invest what age you should start investing?

No, the dude is like, yo, none of that stuff matters as much as you being happy and using money to build your contentment. And me and John admitted, we struggled with contentment.

So Cory broke it down for us and explained how his approach at Sound Financial Group is different than your average broker at Morgan Stanley. How they actually charge a design fee to help you design your financial life as opposed to taking 1% of commissions each year.

He is a very cool and smart guy. He really gets in depth on financial advising in this episode.
