This week, Ryan and Chrissy are joined by their friend: published author, writer, and "home cook" Beth Brown Ables to discuss the beginning of the food program at Mountain Goat. When Mountain Goat first opened in 2018, making our own food was nowhere on the radar, but when the pandemic forced us to find other revenue sources, we went the path of liège waffles. We get all the ins and outs of how Beth became a part of our operation and what it's like to work in a small kitchen at the beginning of something big. We also go very far off track during this episode, but it was fun so we're cool with it.
