Michael Bungay Stanier is the Senior Partner of Box of Crayons, a company that helps organizations do less Good Work and more Great Work. He has written a number of books. His latest, The Coaching Habit: Say Less, Ask More & Change the Way You Lead Forever. helps to teach managers how to make coaching part of their everyday job. In it, he drills down on 7 essential questions and as Michael says, “ to demonstrate how—by saying less and asking more–you can develop coaching methods that produce great results.”

I have written about and recommended this book since the outset of this publication, August 2016. If you want ideas of how I utilize this material check out these blog posts, And What Else? – Michael Bungay Stanier and The Best Sales Question is not Why, it is What. However, I encourage you to listen to the podcast first for some great insight on The Coaching Habit.

P.S. If you are a Kata practitioner this material needs to be in your library. I own both the Kindle and Audible versions.
