Founded as the Bank of Grand Forks in 1879 to serve the Dakotas, Alerus has deep roots historically in the region and has tripled in size in the last 18 years with branches in North Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona.

Community banking plays a critical role in advancing the work of local businesses. Mic is a 15 year experienced Community Business Banking professional focusing on commercial lending and deposit products with clients that are MN based, privately held; a combination of start-ups, seasoned and growing companies to include any stage of the business life cycle. He is recognized for identifying the right financing solutions for clients.
