Our guest this week is Ron Klain. He is a longtime democratic party operative. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Revolution LLC. Mr. Klain previously served as Chief of Staff to two Vice Presidents, Al Gore and Joe Biden. He also guided a number of nominees during their Senate confirmation hearings, including Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. We talked with Ron Klain about the confirmation process - not only for Supreme Court Justices, but also for cabinet members and the differences between the two. We also discussed the biggest misconception about the confirmation process, and what we can expect at the start of the Trump Administration.
