Li', lontano, nell’America del Nord, esiste un posto da sogno chiamato Rocky Mountains, una catena montuosa che taglia verticalmente Canada e Stati Uniti, e che conserva fra le sue rocce un pezzo di storia di quel continente. Oggi, in quelle zone, esiste uno dei parchi nazionali più belli della terra, il Rocky Mountain National Park, dove vivono animali bellissimi come alci, lupi, volpi, orsi e marmotte. Dove esiste un parco nazionale, esiste anche una meta turistica, ed è così che anno dopo anno le Rockies sono visitate da migliaia e migliaia di turisti in cerca di un angolo naturale incontaminato da vivere. Ma come reagiscono gli animali alla presenza dell’uomo?
