The morning of November 1, 1977, began like any other day for George and Rose Carter. That was until they went to they went into their 19-month-old daughter’s room, Nima, and she was nowhere to be found. She would be found a month later deceased in an abandoned house four blocks away from her home, and there would be no suspects. Nima’s case brought to the forefront of the community a very similar case that had happened a year prior in 1976, also involving children.
