GUYS. This week's call is a special one. Not only did Sav and Sar record in person for the very first time, but they're also bringing in their very first guest! Grace Hodges grew up with Sav and Sar and, tbh, "best friends" doesn't come close to describing their relationship. These three are sisters, and they're sharing the stories to prove it! Sitting in Sav's parent's basement (their go to high school hang) Sav, Sar, and G set the scene by painting a picture of the people they were in high school and how they became friends. From there, this week's episode tells stories of cheer coach counseling sessions and concert "community water" with LOTS of cackling in between (sorry not sorry audio quality LOL). Episode 10 of the Call Me Thursday podcast is coming to you right around the 10-year anniversary of when this trio started their senior year of high school which makes it that much more significant. You're going to want to grab your besties for this week's call and prepare to belly laugh!

ABOUT CALL ME THURSDAY:

In 2019, after becoming permanently long-distance best friends, we committed to weekly calls every Thursday. It’s been four years of hours on the phone bent over in tears from both laughter and sorrow, joy and grief, celebrating and ranting. Conversations over the tensions of being citizens of heaven and doing life in the world and figuring out how to build lives that are meaningful, sacred, and marked by both depth and joy in their fullest nature. After the first several months of laughing at our own jokes, we thought, “Man, we would make a great podcast.” And four years later, friends, we invite you in. Come think with us. Process with us what it means to be women in our 20s, in this strange place between Millennials and Gen Z. Chasing dreams, asking questions, and saying the things that most of us are secretly thinking. We’ll talk to you Thursday.
