Morning: FULL. Afternoon: BOOKED. Evening: SCHEDULED. Weekends: JAM PACKED THROUGH JANUARY. Most of our schedules look something like this. A lot of plans, not a lot of margin, and (in all likelihood) not a lot of rest. Enter - this week's episode of the Call Me Thursday podcast. Sav - aka our resident rest guru - has had an annual Sabbath, or rest, week on the calendar since 2020 and today she's showing us the ropes on how to build rhythms of rest into your week and year. The gals recognize that finding space in your schedule to rest isn't easy, but it's worth it. It's time to find time to take it easy - and Sav + Sar hope this week's episode encourages you make time for those things that don't check off a box.

ABOUT CALL ME THURSDAY:

In 2019, after becoming permanently long-distance best friends, we committed to weekly calls every Thursday. It’s been four years of hours on the phone bent over in tears from both laughter and sorrow, joy and grief, celebrating and ranting. Conversations over the tensions of being citizens of heaven and doing life in the world and figuring out how to build lives that are meaningful, sacred, and marked by both depth and joy in their fullest nature. After the first several months of laughing at our own jokes, we thought, “Man, we would make a great podcast.” And four years later, friends, we invite you in. Come think with us. Process with us what it means to be women in our 20s, in this strange place between Millennials and Gen Z. Chasing dreams, asking questions, and saying the things that most of us are secretly thinking. We’ll talk to you Thursday.
