The method: immersion
- why?
- It’s the regular practice hat we see in the New Testament, the apostolic age, and beyond.
- It’s consistent with the meaning of the original word.
- baptizo (Greek: ???????) – to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge (of sunken vessels); to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one’s self, bathe.
- Immersed into Christ
It’s a clear identification with Jesus and his death and resurrection.

It displays the magnitude of Jesus’ work for us and in us.
