Brad Fritsch arrived at Campbell in the fall of 1996 from his native Canada and less than 20 years later was competing in the U.S. Open A key member of Coach John Crooks' 1999 Trans America Athletic Conference Champions, Brad stood out on the golf course as well as in the classroom, where he became Campbell's first, two-time Academic All-American. After graduation, he embarked on a professional golf career, reaching the PGA TOUR and competing in two US Open Championships. In the first of a two-segment Tales from the Creek episode, Stan Cole talks with Brad Fritsch about his path from Canada to Buies Creek to the PGA TOUR and his induction into the Campbell Athletics Hall of Fame.
