When they were born in 1934, they instantly became world-famous as the first known quintuplets to survive birth. While their upbringing had an image of happiness, in truth they were exploited by everyone around them.
The Dionne Quintuplets fought throughout their adult life for privacy and compensation for what was taken from them.
