Desi speaks on not only her darkest days, the moments she felt like she was at rock bottom, but also highlights how she was able to maintain employment during this time despite it all. Escaping the grips of drug addiction and making positive changes in her life led her to meaningful and sustainable employment that she loves.

With the support of atWork Australia, Desi has now returned to the workplace, carrying out a fulfilling role as she is supporting people who live with disability to live better lives.

Despite how dark and traumatic your past might be, Desi is living proof that change is possible.
