God gives us some of the WORST stories about some of the BEST people because He wants us to learn that He can MOVE even in MESSED up people. In order for this to happen God knows we have to face our DARKER SELVES. We have to be willing to see an accept who we are or what we have done. We may feel guilty for what we have done but God doesn't want us to become STUCK in SHAME. GUILT requires us to look at what we have done, but SHAME leads us to believe that mistake is what we have become. We may have past failures that DESCRIBE some season of our life but God has given us hope so that past failures don't DEFINE us.
